Obituary: Marji Herzog Reed

January 23, 1957-June 7, 2015 Marji Mae Reed of Snohomish, Wash., beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away June 7, 2015.Marji is now in heaven with her father and brother, but her legacy continues in her husband, Rod; children, Shawnie (Shane), Kady (Shane), Jesse, Tessa (Joel), Emily and Weston; grandchildren, Amy, Aaron, Malachi and Elsy; mother, Miriam; and sisters, Marty and Maree. Marji was born to George and Miriam Herzog in Seattle, Wash. on January 23, 1957. She was the youngest of four children. When she was little, she moved with her family to Machias, Wash. where she grew up, got married and raised six children of her own. Marji worked as a nurse, homemaker, home-school teacher and volunteer. She always selflessly and joyfully served others. She wanted everyone to experience the love of her Savior, Jesus Christ! The things her family and friends learned from Marji and hope to reflect include: shower your family with love, bloom where you are planted, serve with your whole heart, this too shall pass, God is big enough, enjoy every moment - for this moment is your life...
