THOMAS EDWARD BRASHER
1927

Descendants of Thomas Edward Brasher

Generation No. 1

THOMAS EDWARD BRASHER  (TALTON, WILLIAM HIRAM, AQUILLA, THOMAS L. BRAZIER, THOMAS BRAZIER, WILLIAM B. BRASHIER SR.) was born October 25, 1857 in McNeil, Co, Arkansas, and died September 07, 1930 in Junction City, AR.  He married (1) MARY ELIZABETH WARWICK 1882 in Junction City, Arkansas, daughter of ELVIN WARWICK and LUTICIA HUGHES.  She was born August 25, 1863 in Mt. Holly, Union County, AR, and died April 09, 1906 in Junction City, AR. (she died during childbirth of her last child, a little boy).

Thomas married (2) Agnes Huntley May 12, 1912 in Union Arkansas.  She was born September 13, 1874 and died August 17, 1944 in Junction City, Union, Arkansas.

Notes:
Interesting Note from Jennifer Marie about Agnes and her burial plot and the difference in her last name:
      Hi,
I found your blog via genealogy sleuthing on my own family. I am a teacher and research my family tree on my breaks:) I'm a Wells descendant and am tracking my ancestors in Union County/Union Parish right now.
  • You said Thomas' buried in Roselawn, and I can't find him on the list; however, his second wife, Agnes Brasher is buried in Roselawn. But sadly, her tombstone does not have Brasher. My great-grandfather paid for her stone, and he put Wells instead of Brasher. I know my great-grandfather had a half-brother, Howard Brasher, I believe.

Hello - I am making a correction to the post from Jen Marie about Howard Brasher being the brother of Henry Ellis Wells. This is incorrect - Howard Brasher (Sr.) was my father and he was the nephew of Henry Ellis Wells - my father's mother was Elsie "Clemmie" Wells, sister to Henry Ellis and daughter of Agnes Huntley Wells Brasher. My grandfather was Walter Brasher. My father, Howard was raised by Agnes and Thomas Brasher. I know that sounds confusing - but it is factual.
