Tuesday's Tip

Today is Tuesday's tip over at Geneabloggers.

I am sure you guys know about people taking stuff from your site, not giving credit.....etc.  The BEST way to curb this is to copyright all documents & photos.  I literally have thousands......TONS.  (what a BLESSING!)  I dreaded doing them because I have SO many of them.  Well one way that I have found to do it quickly and effectively is to upload the big folder into my Adobe Lightroom (I am sure there are free ways, but this was easiest for me).  Then I export them back out into a new folder (which I labeled "copyright").  Down towards the bottom is an area for "watermarking".  You will be able to add yours there and you can place it anywhere on the photo (I did across them middle to ensure no one crops it out!).  Then when you export them to your new folder, they are all copyrighted all at ONCE instead of doing it for hours individually!  Enjoy!
