ALPHEUS VAUGHN (CORNELIUS JR, CORNELIUS SR, JAMES CORNELIUS, LORD ROBERT VAUGHAN) was born April 06, 1859 in Lexington, Fayette Co, KY, and died May 13, 1937 in Exeter District Cemetery in Exeter, CA. He married MARTHA NEAL (NEIL) ROSELL on October 26, 1882 in South Point, Missouri. She was the daughter of John Elliot Rosell and Elizabeth Anderson.  She was born on February 18, 1865 in Norborne, Carroll County, Missouri and died March 27, 1941 in Tulare County, California.  She's buried in Exeter District Cemetery, in Exeter, California.

Children of Alpheus & Mattie (Rosell) Vaughn were: 

1.  Grade Gertrude Vaughn was born February 22, 1889 and died November 6, 1907.

2.  Alpha Rosell Vaughn was born April 15, 1897 in College City, California and died March 3, 1953.  She married Roscoe Edwin Wood on April 12, 1919.

3.  Agnes Rey (Rae) Vaughn b. March 28, 1900 in College City, California.  She was married to Fred J Wall on September 22, 1922.
