Daniel J. Vaughn

Daniel J. Vaughn, 86, of Pateros, WA died Monday, February 27, 1995 at the Harmony House Health Care Center at Brewster.
Mr. Vaughn was born January 29, 1909 the son of Joseph and Eva (Stanley) Vaughn at Ardenvoir, WA, where he attended school and graduated from the Sunnyslope High School.
Mr. Vaughn worked at various jobs, being a carpenter in his early years. He later became a Chef, working at different places such as Colville, where he moved to in 1945, Idaho, Kansas City, Kansas and Sun Mtn. Lodge in Winthrop.
He was married to Helen Pate June 28, 1968 at Twisp, WA. They moved to Pateros, WA in 1974 where they have since resided. Mr. Vaughn was a member of the Pateros Grange, and one of the 1st member s of the Eagles Lodge #2797 at Colville.
He is survived by his wife, Helen at the Home in Pateros, two sons, Dale Vaughn and Carl Vaughn, both of Colville; two daughters, Shirley Reed of Jacksonville, Florida and Helen Hardy of Bradenton, Florida; a step son, Hank Rogers of Twisp and two step daughters, Eddeane Serfass and Marianne Burns, both of Coos Bay, Oregon; two brothers Herbert Vaughn of California and Alfred Vaughn of Seattle; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Services will be conducted, Friday, March 3, 1995 at 10 a.m. from the Barnes Chapel, Brewster, with Richard Webb, officiating, Interment to follow at the Entiat Cemetery. Services under the direction of Brewster Chapel, Brewster.
